THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
is there a picture/info thread on the standard issued M4?

i know there is one for the SOPMOD block II already but was curious if there is one available for the standard issued M4 with the info on components used as well.

the M4 picture thread has pics but is cluttered up with non standard issued M4's

EDITED to add:

Lets Make this the official Standard Issue M4 picture/information thread

please keep the pics to M4 barrel with FSP
KAC RAS rail system
ACOG/ aimpoint m2/ EOTech
M4/CAR stock
A2 grip

Build pics: Please keep the pics of clones of the standard issue M4 to as close as possible.

please include other issued parts that would have been common also

i know that there is a little variation to what some armorers would allow but lets try to keep this as close to standard issue as possible

PLEASE: IF YOU DONT HAVE A PIC OR INFORMATION THAT CAN HELP OTHERS IN THEIR BUILDS DONT POST IN THIS THREAD!!!
There are only two things i can't stand:
1- People who are intolerant of others' political beliefs
2- LIBERALS!!!!!!

foamie ear plug, easier to get and cheaper than muzzle caps.

magwel plugs were bought by the armory from Brownells to keep dust out of the guns when mags were not loaded in the gun.

I have a Matech too, but am rocking the carry handle right now as I like it better for shooting beyond 300 yards. My cousin is sending me a new SOPMOD stock for it, kind of stoked to get that in.

Not my issue M-4 but close minus the peq 2 and a 16 in bbl. The rails buis light and mount and stock are from my issue piece.

That was on a 15 man mountaintop OP, 203s were great for when they got in our immediate deadspace. We had I think 12. The others had 320s.

Depends on your job and position. There are still plenty of Combat Support and Service Support MOS's that are not issued rails and optics, there are even some in Combat Arms that do not.

It is service dependent, for the Marines they don't buy A4s or M4s without the Modular Weapons System kit (MWS) and we have bought close to 200,000 RCOs and SDOs to equip all the rifles, carbines and IARs we have.

TA01 NSN, index clips, wolf hook.
We'll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit 5000 species of mammal on the same boat.

Looks like motor pool is going to have a hissy fit over this HMMV's condition...

Interesting sling configuration on that one.

It was down in Garmsir, AFG

It is a VTAC attached to a QD disconnect near the delta ring and recievers end plate
