I think about how it would be nice to go home and mow the lawn, take a nap, go on a bike ride, wack off in a phone booth with a rabid mountain lion and a fist full of thumbtacks.- Defcon

Lovin' the foliage green stuff. OD looks good on a black rifle too, but I think I like the foliage just a little better.

I've always liked FG in pics but after seeing it in person, it's a bit too light for my tastes. Maybe I should add some rit dye for a custom color?

The cheekweld makes such a difference. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/DSC_4873.JPG Couple of questions.... how does that gun run with a rifle length gas system and 16" barrel? Did you have to monkey with the gas port? What VFG is that? Gun looks great by the way... |
|
|
It's a mid length gas system , it's the spikes GMP upper. And the vfg is the gear sector one.

PSA, grab that rifle and head up HWY 21 north about 12 miles from Ridgeway and hang a left at the caution light. Hang a right on 200 and in about 2.5 miles you'll see a ranch style house with three crosses in the yard. I be out there waving you down with some free fried chicken from the cafe and a case of ammo.

Going to check out gear sector now. |

I was going to post a pic of mine, but after looking at the pictures in this thread my AR looks like 2 or 3 that have already been posted. The only difference would be the carpet.
|
|

fail––post the pic anyway––we want to see the foliage!

Arizona Armory billet lower and upper (factory cerakoted), Troy sights and 11" VTAC rail, Daniel Defense 14.5" lightweight barrel, permanently attached AAC breakout (for a Mini4 suppressor eventually), Palmetto State Armory lower kit and BCG, IKH SLAP sling mount. It's a light and fun gun to shoot. Always gets looks on the range, people come over to ask what kind of gun it is. There are 3 things I'm going to add to it. A badger charging handle latch, Battle Arms ambi safety (in foliage green), and flashlight. (in foliage green Gear Sector mount) need ou to get some new pics of that rifle––-the green lookes like light black in the photos––on 2 monitors and my iphone! Its a gorgeous stick! |

I don't have one of those. I do have a lightweight middy, and I love it. |
