Like I said, at $90-$120 for a B5, it's not likely I would let the shade of the color stop me, but people should know what they're getting.

B5 on the left, LMT on the right.

That's B5s FDE and LMTs Coyote, so their different colors. B5 has a coyote color as well and it's not the same as the Coyote put out by LMT, KAC (they call it Taupe, but it's te same color).

I ordered the coyote because I hate their shade of FDE. Hopefully the orange tint isn't too bad...

When the eotech itself is 3 shades of tan, and the ris rail and kac are another two Shades of tan, what is another 3-4 shades of tan on the same gun...

Agreed, my Block 2 rifle uses a tan upper, lower, rail, optic, front sight and rear sight. None of them match

Haha, I don't care if they mismatch. There's just something about B5's FDE that makes me want to bash my face in.

Obviously, I don't care either. That is why there are 6 shades of tan on my rifle now, I forgot the rail covers. and there may be a few more shades...but the buttstock will stay black...what? the like new black Lmt sopmod was only 80 shipped.

ETA: you know the different shades are intentional, right? Built in Camo, otherwise people would have to paint the guys to break up their outline...

I agree, my FDE B5 was almost foliage green looking. So I ordered an LMT FDE, waaaay better, if only it wasn't $80 more.

Why do people know that they don't have a Bock II/1.5, acknowledge that it is the wrong thread, but insist on posting their non-Block II clone anyways?

I. Just. Don't. Get. It.

No, it is not. The only thing it is "close" with is that it is a AR15 and it has a RAS.

It is taken serious because this entire thread is devoted to CLONES ("One that copies or closely resembles another, as in appearance or function") of the SOPMOD BLOCK II program of the M4 carbine. Same goes with the MK18 and M16A4 clone threads. If you don't have a weapon that copies are closely resembles those 3 firearms, you shouldn't be posting them in threads that are devoted to such. He could have posted that same pic in 3, maybe 4 other threads depending on the manufacturer and would have been fine.

I wouldn't go post a Daniel Defense DDM4 in a BCM picture thread because it had a BCM Charging handle I put in it.

Oddly enough people do that.

You should see the KAC gear threads. "I can't afford an SR15 or SR25, but I threw a KAC rail panel I bought off the EE on a Bushmaster rifle that has YHM rail on it!!!!"
