With mine , it's a pain ( tight fit ) to get the rubber cover on or off. I pretty much just tossed the protective rubber cover in the box since I was thinking it would just get torn up if I actually did try to use it. |

Clonelords. I'm building my first block 2 and can't decide on a lower. Unfortunately, my budget is tight on this one so I can't go nuts. Currently looking at Aero, PSA, BCM, and Spikes. Also, if I can find a complete LMT defender 2000 lower for a reasonable price, I'd consider that.
Thanks in advance. |

ETA: since your budget is tight however, I would go with a complete PSA lower for the $129 or whatever they are right now. |

PSA is very tempting because of the price. However, I don't want to sacrifice quality by saving a few bucks. Any thoughts on Spikes or Aero? I'm gonna be honest, I'm anti Spikes, so I'm biased against their stuff. Aero is top notch, but PSA is no slouch either. I have one of their lowers I'm waiting on a form 1 right now for my block 2 build. Same build uses a PSA upper and my block 2 cqbr rifle usues their premium BCG. For the most part, a receiver is a receiver, with a few exceptions. The parts you use on the receiver are what you should be more concerned with for a build than the receiver. A well used saying is find a lower with a roll mark you like and go with it. |
