I've got two or three extra NOS barrels for my B2, along with the same in muzzle devices. You're going to have that can a long time. Stock up on the parts now while they're easy to find and affordable. All else is easily acquired down the road.

I believe both patterns are used and correct. That said, I think all the KACs I've seen have been the standard stubby selector, not the scalloped one. But the scalloped one is awesome. |

For ambi selectors I got the skinny from Augee when I originally bought my first ambi Colt. I believe the skinny was as follows.
Colt long/short ambi- M4A1 pip upgrade Colt long/long ambi- in use by SOCOM KAC non scalloped- in use by SOCOM I think we can add the long/short to the used by SOCOM list now as well, since CD just got a batch of long/shorts, although the new contract isn't with Colt. |

I'll post personal pics once it arrives and I get something thrown together. Just going to keep it simple and throw an ACOG on it. I have a lower with a SSAE/SOPMOD waiting for her. I might strip the paint and re-do it to match some of my other guns. Or, I might just spray new layer over it. I paint most of my ARs and the price was just tooooo good. Thanks for reassuring my decision to purchase it

Agreed.....and none of his shit is broken. I'm starting to doubt his status as a Marine. Haha I've had my fair shares of dirty rifles and broken stuffs This was after a few nights out in the desert and ~2,700 rounds without any cleaning; I preferred the HK much more over the M4A1

I like having a dot up there but you have to remove the sight/lose your zero to change the battery. So I'm just going to use the BUIS until I get the RMR. With my luck the battery would die right when I need to use it.

How often are you going to be changing your battery, though? It's a minor annoyance, but that's all it is. What brand of mini-RD did you have? I can't remember.
