I was kinda joking but I really do want a LMT Gen 1. I traded my B5 SOPMOD for one of the nicest N1's I've ever seen as I was in the middle of trading for an LMT Gen 2 in FDE but the LMT deal I was working on fell threw.

Side note, if anyone wants a really clean nice N1, I'm looking for a B5 in Coyote Brown or an LMT Gen 1 in Black or FDE. I doubt I'm going to find either of the latter as an even trade but the last couple N1's in this shape I've seen sell on the EE have sold for what a B5 Gen 2 costs.

I traded my B5 FDE for it as a matter of fact but I thought I was getting an LMT Gen 1 in FDE from another guy, fucker welched on me.

I know I appreciate it when people mention BLOCK II stuff for sale in the EE in this thread, I would have missed half my parts had people like you not said HEY I have some crap for sale.

It sure is.

Stick has sure been having his way with TannerB's old upper since acquiring it - at least with a camera.

So the reason I'm trying to dump my ACOG is I want one of those Steiner 1-4 that are on sale. Bad. My question is, will I be mercilessly mocked and ridiculed by you animals if I slap it on my B2 and post it in here?

Define free

I lost the the little "claw", spring, and bolt that clamps to the Picatinny rails on my 60 degree offset flashlight mount in Iraq.

Daniel Defense sent me the parts, but I had to pay like $12 in shipping, and it came in a $5 flat rate box...

Am I the only person that thinks flat rate boxes are a scam?

Not when they charge the actual flat rate price. Sounds like DD and Emdom have the same shipping guy.

To be honest, you can buy small boxes at Walmart for under $1 and shipping is probably less than $2.

Flat rate is great when whatever you're shipping is heavy.

Decisions, decisions...

Thanks to Steve at ADCO for the PR upper assembly and pin/weld job, as well as the ridiculously fast turn around time.

I think I want to eventually clone this gun. Minus the Elcan and PEQ15. I know the rail isn't kosher so it will stay a PR for now.

Well it's a little bit closer. I got the upper and the 553 from fellow members. The upper is a Colt socom upper with the DD RIS II. I need a Colt lower and a KAC micro rear sight. Also need a good surefire light. This rifle isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Hopefully next week I can shoot it.

I recently acquired a large amount of CQD rear sling mounts and want to pass the deal along to the cloners. They should be in tomorrow and I could start shipping on Saturday.

They are brand new, and I will be asking $19 shipped per mount. I am positive this is the cheapest price by far on the web right now. If you want one shoot me an IM with how many and I will put you on my list.

You'd have to ruin your pin/weld job to turn the PR into a B2. Uses a proprietary bbl nut which you'd have to remove the FSB to remove, but you have to remove the muzzle device to remove either of those.

I say leave it as a PR. PR's are the shit too, I miss mine even tho I basically have a PR CQBR.

I've said it many times before, but I think my Block II is done...
Am I an idiot for replacing my M600C with an M3X? Maybe, but it makes it a little more SOPMOD-correct and I prefer the insight pressure pad. The only thing left on my wishlist is an ATPIAL-C, and that won't come for a good while

I'm a pretty dedicated Surefire fan myself, and at one point got the M600 deliberately instead of an M3X but I needed another light for a PR upper I'm building so I decided to go with something a little different. Like most of my accessories I'll probably switch it back and forth between weapons about a dozen times before I decide where I want it

I'm really liking the ACOG/MRD setup so far. I haven't done a whole lot of shooting with it yet but the 'chin weld' isn't nearly as bad as I though it would be with the SOPMOD stock

Yea the chin weld is pretty damn sweet with the SOPMOD. I can handle it with the waffle too but the SOPMOD is quite a bit nicer as far as chin/cheek weld. I've already gone through 2 and had to sell/trade em off but I need another purdy bad. It'll be a gen 1 this time though since I have no desire to use the QD socket on the G2

Just because it has a QD attachment point doesn't mean you have to use it.

Am I an idiot for replacing my M600C with an M3X? Maybe, but it makes it a little more SOPMOD-correct and I prefer the insight pressure pad. The only thing left on my wishlist is an ATPIAL-C, and that won't come for a good while

Yes. Surefire is the gold standard IMO.

But regardless, that is a damn fine weapon. Nicely done.

It's good to see more TA01NSN/ piggyback combos other than just mine as well.

Well duh. But I'd rather have the correct stock if I'm not gonna use the QD point.

Am I the only person that thinks flat rate boxes are a scam?

Well, I can ship 2000 77 grain SMK bullets for $6 and some change plus the cost of insurance through USPS. Not sure how it would be a scam unless you're talking about companies charging a flat rate and then sending it in a cheap flat rate box, its kind of like going to Wal-Mart and having to pay extra to have a cashier check you out.

They are brand new, and I will be asking $19 shipped per mount. I am positive this is the cheapest price by far on the web right now. If you want one shoot me an IM with how many and I will put you on my list.
