Congrats! I have many DPMS rifles and parts...they work as intended for me. Break in? I believe in a real good initial cleaning and lube and shoot it. The clean after every shot thing isn't my style, nor do I believe it greatly improves accuracy. Many barrels have been ruined by too frequent and improper cleaning methods. Buy ammo and mags and shoot as much as you can! Ammo? well what ever is cheapest that your gun runs on for plinking. 5.56 pressure for SHTF.

HI
Welcome! I have a DPMS Lo-Pro Classic. Decent little gun. Certainly no BCM, but not bad either. Best advice is buy ammo and enjoy it.......good luck |

I have a very strict break in process. I load up all my magazines, shoot the hell out of my rifle then put it back in the safe... then repeat

Thanks for the comments guys. I love the strict break-in process. I may just have to try that one...sounds right up my alley! As far as pictures, I will see if I can get a few posted later today.
