i am taking a solidworks program at a local collage and the alignment is ether building a gas RC truck or i can come up with a project of my own... so why not an AR. i figured i would build it form Mil-Spec Drawings instead of "winging it" with a pare of calipers.
i did manage to find and download the Lower form this site http://www.cncguns.com/downloads.html. but i need the rest of the prints/drawings.....
my class starts in January so im just trying to start figuring out how MASSIVE this project will be... any links or insights would be greatly helpful.
this seems like a fairly tight secret in the industry but unless certain company's are pulling there dimensions out of a hat (some actually may) they are out there.
help!
thanks!

If you were a company would you post your drawings on the net? Esp if you are into govt contracts.

Any drawing you find on the net is reversed engineered from actual product.

Anybody with legitimate access to those drawings is contractually prohibited from releasing them.

Except for Colt, of course, and they aren't talking.

Drawings are loaded dimesions and they're hard to read and get information. Drafter should ordinate dimensions.
It's a lot cleaner.
