couple things
1) for those looking for them Fulton Armory sells A1 stocks with doors (not sure if they are 100% mil spec or not) 2) With the Leupold Mk 4's getting rarer (because I guess Leupold hates money more than their customer base) is there a good stand in if one couldn't get a hold of a Mk 4? |

Shooting the precision rifle match at Creekside Firing Range tomorrow with the mod Juan if anywhere nearby wants to come. I don't have dope so there's a good chance I won't win, haha

Awesome photo dumps, gents. The Marine Corps got a lot of miles out of their Mod1s. So awesome.
Also, I need to update the photos in my OP when I get some time. Photobucket can eat a dick. |

What size are the screws that afix the sleeve to the gen 3 forearm on a Mod 0?
My PRI sleeve seems to be missing these. |

Get a good set of non quick detach rings and torque them down. http://i.imgur.com/YRdDSme.jpg LaRue mounts, now 2.5-10x24 on early SPRs, what will the world come to next? Will we see a x32 on an issued Mk12 this year? View Quote |

I definitely got one of the short pieces that's spare. Just moved back in to the house a couple days ago though, so gotta dig around for it. May be a bit before I run across it, but if you're not in a rush it's all yours.

No idea where you guys are finding so much awesome photography, but keep it up!
To all those who've helped me build my first Mk12, I apologize for the wait. Just talked to my gun shop and they said they are just waiting on the ballistic advantage barrel right now. I promise to upload photos as soon as she's built! |

If you are who I think you are... We were talking on CRA a while back ahout ARMS rings and you told me you were issued a Mk12 in the Marines... Of course I wanted to see pictures of it! So yeah, I admit my guilt.

I was going to place an order through the Leupold custom shop today to build me the correct scope and was going to cost just over $1300 with an expected 8 week wait as they don't have any in-stock. The Brownells deal popped up this morning so I had to snag it (I never get this lucky with the timing). I can live without the illumination but as the purists would say.... the weapon wont be 100% without it. It's good to know they can add the illumination for the $175 so thank you on that heads up!
Brownells also had the ARMS #22 rings in stock as well as the ARMS #32 adaptor so the one stop shopping was convenient. The check was cashed for the stamp on the can back in October so that should be paroled shortly. |
