I'm thinking the 3.5-15 is about the same only a little less mag. The closets thing I can compare to a x24 is the x32 I have. Have you used both of those and how similar is it from x32 to x24? Hell I guess I should just get a x24 and try it. I'm not sure what your contemplating on the mounts. LT-104 vs LT-111. I have both. They seem the same to me except the way the rings mount. The LT-111 is built like a brick shithouse. |

I currently have a x24 and 3.5-15x50 F1 with the H59 reticle. The F1 seems big and heavy on a 308, the x24 is great for its size and weight, I had a x32 also but didn't find much of a difference in eye box or light gathering and went with the smaller shorter option. I have a Leupold mk6 with the H59 also and its size and weight are a much better fit for a 16-18" AR. Just my opinions and observations, all are top quality scopes.

View Quote Take a look at AR15's own hosting, i have been using it more an more for images for this board...you can also post using img controls on other boards as well but there is no handy link generator or anything like PB or Imgur, etc - you have to copy the image url and then paste, etc - but it does work externally as well. For a large collection that you want to link/access from multiple locations though one of the dedicated services is probably better. |
