I feel ashamed because I replaced my A1 lower on my Mk12 with an Anderson. I am registering the A1 as an SBR, and it needs to go off and get engraved. Since it's getting my trust info engraved on it anyway, I was thinking about getting a faux retro rollmark engraved, as well. Does anyone here have any recommendations for where I can send it for these services?

Did anyone ever answer the question of which ergo grip is correct? LMT original it says but how can that be identified? I got an a1 grip from axarob44 and I bought a cheap GM (fat ???)grip. I want to get the ergo and try all three out to see what I prefer. The early mod 0 will get an A1 regardless. I got an H&R A1 stock in the sets I bought. Not sure what the significance of that is as it pertains to an mk12 but I'm curious to see it.

Did Luepold lower the MAP on mk4 scopes? Seems the price was $1200-1300 on the 2.5-8x36 M2 with 77gr turrets and illuminated TMR.

PSA for those using MK12 FF RAS Rails.
I had installed one some time ago only to have it be "loose" with some wiggle in the end. I ultimately confirmed it was the locking ring "bottoming" out on the rail itself. See picture below for comparison of carbine FF RAS on left vs. MK12 on the right. Notice the "gap" on the carbine FF RAS which is normal. I was able to swap locking rings this morning to eliminate the rail movement. I'll be sending the rail back to KAC for evaluation. Nobody else may have experienced this problem but I figured I'd post it anyway hoping it helps somebody down the road. Don't worry, you didn't install it wrong and you're not crazy! |
