The SEAL Recce rifle and the ModH are "in house" carbine builds of the Mod1 and the Mod0. Mind blown.

It's going to wear my AAC can too, so using an SLR block doesn't mean much in the long run versus a PRI. I'm not doing an SLR adjustable, just their plain .750 block. |

Can't deny it, grip-pods work as either a vert grip or a bipod, but due to location on the rail of where you would want either of the 2, it sucks at being a good vert grip and bipod at the same time. If that made sense.

LOL at the grip pods. We used to use them on our SAWs and some of our MK18s. But we lost a bit of "respect" with them on the shortys. I actually ran into the guy that made/designed them at the range here in town. He came over to strike up a conversation about them, asking a bunch of user feedback questions. I didn't know he was "the" guy until the end of the conversation. Good thing I didn't badmouth them.
In other news my AEM5 was approved on Sunday Now I just have to wait for USPS to make their way to my FFL. Pic thread. (shitty pic, but pic none the less.) I think I'll stick with the harris. |

I love mine now that I got a little better glass and the can. What glass are you going with? For now, an SWFA 3-9. I'll be putting it in my Larue SPR -S with the built in cant, and my 1-4 will go in a Burris PEPR. The SWFA has more elevation travel than my Bushnell does on the early rifle, and the extra elevation should help on the 16". Grip pod has its uses. For an M4 or even an A4, handy to have. MK12, maybe not. On a Mod H it almost makes sense, blend of carbine and precision role. I say ALMOST though because as mentioned ideal bipod placement might not be ideal grip placement. |

Well, this gem showed up in my mailbox outta the clear-blue today. My card was charged $64.19, which I'm assuming was the SECOND time I ordered the turret. The first time was waaaaay back last year and I never heard from Leupold nor saw the turret. Then I re-ordered it and I guess this is for the second one. Don't need two turrets, especially not two that aren't marked how I specified so I might try and send them both back, though this one looks a little better. [shrugs]

You would think they could figure it out since most people want them labeled the same when it comes to MK12's |

It's unfortunate that they are still screwing these up. Took me two tries. |

Add to that how fucked up the engravings are and it's just completely unacceptable. |
