I just took the calibers and it's 1.16" which for me is great at 200 and all the dry firing practice is showing. The circle is an inch, I left my targets on the counter so I had to find ones that people hadn't shot yet. Next trip I'm going to take a 1 MOA all day target since they are so simple to read. I'll do that challenge this summer when I feel I'm ready; I'd like to get three clone rifles on there (MK12, Mod-H, Sam-R) Ammo is my go to hand load for 5 years and it works like a dream in just about every gun. 77gr smk or Nosler they shoot about the same as long as I divide them by weight 23.2gr xbr8208 loaded to mag length The drills that have helped me are the following -dry firing focusing on truing myself up to the target so that if I close my eyes then open them my recital is in the same place -Focusing on consistent trigger pull (I try to get 50 pulls a night if possible) -Focusing on the recital instead of the target -Moving from target to target and getting set up. I've printed out some tiny USPSA targets for this and taped them to my garage to simulate different ranges Next I'm going to start focusing more on my ammo. I've been using LC brass but I will move to Lapua this summer for the good stuff. Finding a better scale that will go another decimal place I think could also help. |

Hello all. I"m just about finished with my MK12 Mod0 SPR build. The last part I was going to get is the A.R.M.S #40 Low Profile rear BUIS However I Have a 20" A4 AR-15 flatop rifle with a MaTech Mil-Spec Rear Back-up Iron Sight and I'm thinking of just taking that off my A4 and putting it on my SPR. This will SAVE me $129.00.
https://www.amazon.com/MaTech-Mil-Spec-Back-up-Iron-Sight/dp/B002E6SXN4?tag=vglnk-c102-20 Will the Ma Tech Rear BUIS work with the PRI Flip-up front Iron site? https://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186686&CAT=4292 I have a A2 detachable Carry handle I can install on the A4 to replace the Ma Tech. What to you think. Will the Ma Tech get in the way of any Optic on the SPR? I have the Nikon M223 3-12x 42 SF Rifle scope in a American Defense AD-RECON mount that I was going to transfer to the SPR and use the A4 with the detachable carry handle to practice with the Iron sights. You prompt replies will be appreciated |

I don't think that buis will work with the swan sleeve on the mod 0. I may be wrong. I would wait and get the correct rear sight.

I left the rear lens cap off and I was able to get a notch or two closer with the scope. Made a difference for me.
