[Last Edit: LostKeys45] [#2]
This rifle cost me less than $1,000 by purchasing used, waiting for good deals and admittedly getting really lucky on the optic purchase.

Spikes Punisher stripped lower $90
PSA MOE LPK with Geissele SSA-E $250
Complete Sig M400 upper $250 (used)
KAC RAS factory seconds $150
Aimpoint Comp C3 in Larue mount $100 (used)
Tango Down VG $70? (Had it laying around forever)
B5 stock was $20 IIRC from PSA one time (purchased a few at the time)

I'm not real good at math but I think that comes in under 1k. Very happy with it for the money.

Just got done building my first ar15! Only was able to fire a few rounds through it, but can't wait to take it to the range again.

Thank you...how do you like the angled fore grip vs the vertical fore grip? I was thinking about getting the SI link afg.

I like using the VFG for the thumb break method of muzzle control on carbine gas systems and the hand stop for perfect grip placement on mid lengths.

Don't forget your shooting blouse when you take it to the range.
Just kidding OP, there's some K-Stater's around here that would be absolutely drooling over that rifle.

9 inch BCM 300 blackout upper.  Have a DD fixed front sight coming in the mail and will put an extra KAC micro flip up rear sight on to match it.  Planning on spray painting the MRO as well.

Thing is accurate as hell for an SBR!

GD did not appreciate my build from spare parts, maybe there are some people here who appreciate true art.

Also my first stamp recently was approved. I bought the M21 for 30 bucks. (Damn picture is sideways)

Here's my two.

Both are pretty much budget builds with stuff added after the fact, though both are also pretty damned good shooters, surprisingly enough.  :)

I've got a few parts laying around, so there will be a third shortly.  :P

Just the bare essentials:

Colt M4 carbine with a m300 scout, worn in Cubs cap, and can of mint cope.

Hey man, just wondering what the optics mount you have on your carry handle is, on this rifle. Thanks.

Nice combination! red dot SBR with a comp to make it a little easier on the ears, and a longer range rifle with the brake for softer shooting and less movement with the classic Trijicione ACOG.

It would be nice if those compensators could host a can.

Nope, just part of the latest batch (pre 41F).  I haven't tried it yet, probably will Thursday.
