Thanks!  Its a great spot to shoot plates across the way, with a little shade (which is hard to come by).... and the shooting was a hoot

Looks marvelous. We have spots just like that over here as well.

Tell me more, or at least try to sell me on getting a tripod.

I've got a pig saddle, and even on the cheap tripod it makes for a better platform than a folding table... plus it's easier to drag around with s folding chair.  Just got in a SLIK tripod that is much more sturdy, and waiting for a ball head to arrive for the new setup.

I personally love the blue, but I hear what you're saying, I don't like all the people that are putting the red accents on them.

Thanks. This is a total "Frankengun."  Here goes with the parts list:
Aero Precision upper
Royal Arms Multical 7075 Billet Lower (unsure of the LPK, got the complete lower and the rail from Revolution Arms before they went out of business)
Ballistic Advantage 18" SPR profile barrel .223 Wylde 1 in 8 twist, rifle length gas system w/Fortis 5.56 brake
Revolution Arms 13 5/8" mLok rail
AXTS Black Nitride BCG w/BCM Charging handle
Geiselle G2S Trigger group
Luth AR MB-1 Fixed Stock
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x Optic  (Vortex Defender Scope caps)
Burris XTR 30mm High Rings.

Haven't had a chance to really test it at distance but inside of 50 she's making 1 jagged hole with me shooting it. I'm sure it would do better with someone else.
Same rifle but with Burris Veracity 2-10x I just got a killer buy on.

This Guntec upper receiver seems to work fairly well on multiple lowers.  I'll probably pick up 2 more.

Starting to get an idea for which direction this is heading as well.

Spikes Tactical "The Jack" lower, Spikes upper with Spikes BCG, BCM charging handle. Magpul grip, BUIS sights, & butt stock. Diamondhead forearm, Timney trigger. Still have a few changes in mind for it.
