I expect a moderator deleted my last post on this subject. So be it. I have a question or a point to make about the TRIM rails. I almost ordered one the other day. $80 for a 14" rail? I am down for that. The TRIM is proprietary like m-lok or keymod. I don't have a problem with that at all. My question or point is Wilson doesn't have any of the 4 adapters they offered and the rail doesn't come with any. If they are closing out the design there is no way to adapt anything to the proprietary rail. So, you will have a rail that you can't mount anything to. If I could pick up a few adapters with the rail then great, who cares if it is proprietary. If they are unavailable forever, then what?

Some LPK's will have pins that work fine while some pins will slide right in. We find the best solution for the pins that are too small is to stake the pin on both sides of the bolt catch. That is a huge blem IMHO. |
