nothing special or tactical ... just me enjoying my new 6920 and trying to get better at shooting man-size target 100m away (while standing)

i don't know if this is good or not ... my hands still shake too much .. what do y'all experts think? (btw, the head is ~6in wide)

Took three "noob" college students to the range on Saturday. Showed them the ropes, so to speak. Another friend of mine (also an arfcommer) was there as well. We acted more as range officers than shooters that day. I think I might have personally put only about 5 rounds through my AR that day, just for example purposes.

Credit to EDMHUNTER for the photography.

(I think I was pointing out/explaining the forward assist to the group in this pic)

(teaching a lefty presented it's own challenges)

(I did the best I could teaching proper stance, etc. They still liked leaning back too much and they were hesitant to put their faces very close to the guns...some did better than others. For beginners they did OK)

(my range officer pose

)

(destroying a pumpkin)

(not much left once we were done with it

)

No offense...but I don't think you understand what we are saying here...

Even though you are in a "combat ready" situation, you do NOT keep your finger on the trigger unless you are actually preparing to fire, or at least aiming at a target that you intend to destory.

What if an explosion went off near you...Scared the shit out of you, and you pulled the trigger accidentally, putting a hole through the head of your buddy next to you

Running around with your finger on the trigger is like running with scissors. worse actually. much worse.

The only place you'd have seen more than two of those pictures is Lightfighter or my Photobucket account.

Probably Lightfighter's Stud board. I couldn't remember if it was there or M4C. Anyhow thank you for your service and the pics.

A little POV video.

Reminds me of the IPSC pistol match I did when I was 14.....I put 2 beautiful touching holes right in the A, problem was, it was the hostage.  I still wonder if it was stress effect and determining colors..no I am not color blind.

you should throw up a picture of your carbine it looks like a 10.5- maybe show the camera mount also, curious to see which of the mount interfaces you used to mount it- looks like one of the better action cams in dealing with the recoil-

That ain't Vic, it's me, clasky, at a recent sniper shoot.  Of course, with the ghillie suit, we could tell you it was Jimmy Hoffa...  But yeah, nothing beats the AN/PVS-22 for 6-10X magnification!

Clasky sorry about that I didn't even notice the name..

Still a freaking Awesome pic

The rifle is a 9mm carbine, hence the title "PCC" = pistol caliber carbine. We run an informal carbine division with the rifles after our monthly USPSA matches. It is indeed a 10.5". The carbine is at least as "wiggly" as a 5.56 but there is a lot less distortion from overpressure. Anyway, here are some pics of the mount and camera. I'm not sure if a headband mount might not work out better in the long run. The whole thing is still a work in progess.  Sorry that none of these are "action" pictures!
