I've got an LMT 14.5 upper and have been looking at installing the Daniel Defence Omega 7.0 two-piece system.  Anyone have any personal experience with the quality of this system?

Thanks,

I have it on one of my rifles.

One of the best rails out there IMO. My reasons for buying were the continous top tail, QD holes, free float, light, and rock solid.

ETA: Also the fact that my flash hider is perm attached and still allows me the use of a FF rail.

You will be not be disappointed. Very easy to install, doesn't require modifying your upper, and it's a solid system. I'm about to order another 9" for my new middy.

I have the omega 7.0 on my Noveske 14.5 and I love it.  It is easily one of the best rails available right now.  I like it as much as the MRP on my LMT piston rifle and that is saying a lot!  The quality is outstanding and the fit and finish are perfect.  Put the DD omega on without hesitation, it is awesome!

I have one on one of my m4's. I love it. Very easy to install and like others have said it is rock solid. I just bought a Colt 6920 and I am going to put one on it.

I have to say I love them. Before the Omega came out I was not a fan of rails on carbines because I felt they added too much weight and bulk. With the Omega installed, my carbine is no heavier or bulkier then before but now I can easily install\remove my weapon light and it has a built in sling mount which works great with my vickers sling. The other thing for me is I prefer 14.5" carbines with permanent FH's over 16" carbines and this rail is perfect for that because I don't need to remove the FH or FSB to install it. The Omega will also FF's the barrel and has the monolithic top rail look. Neither of those thing are very important IMO but cool none the less. Over all I really think DD hit a grand slam with this rail!
