Does the FSB have to be removed to install the FF RAS carbine? I wouldn't be comfortable doing that but could send it off. |

The FSB will have to be removed. Install rail. Reinstall FSB with gas tube and time muzzle device. Geno has one here (4E). |

Thanks man. For the time being, probably just keep it as a pistol, though I would love to be able to throw on one of my SOPMOD's. I do have a suppressor that was a Form 1 that's assigned to a trust. If I didn't assign an SBR to the trust and just did it as an individual, would I still need to carry my tax stamp papers with me anywhere I took it as an SBR?

View Quote When I get a tax stamp in hand, I'll make a few copies of the original and keep them with the NFA item either in a range bag, scanned and saved on my phone, or rolled up in a SOPMOD tube. I've never been asked to show proof of NFA registration while out with tax-stamped items, but I always keep some form of it handy. The originals get put in a folder I have locked up. |

I like the idea of just throwing it in the sopmod stock. Hmm, now you've got me thinking, lol.

The clean minimalist roll mark is where it's at and I know the tolerances are nice and tight. I maybe using one of these for the next build, that or the obtainable lmt defender. |

Thanks, yeah this one has Centurion upper, lower, and bolt. They make great stuff, and that company has some of the best customer service in the gun world. Here's another one of my builds that is all KAC (minus barrel and buffer assembly) The barrel is a colt FBI with factory shaved FSB. I will eventually swap out the buffer assembly.

Interesting though the website list the CRS with a /QDC. A September order and purchase ended up with a December check cashed. |
