Here's both the variations of mine. Have some more stuff I want to add on, but right now I'm just looking for a second upper first.

Windham Weaponry rifle, started off as a flat top and went from there!

My first ever AR. Windham SRT. Hasn't even been shot yet but I couldn't help but make a few tweaks. All that's left is a front sight then its run her til something breaks...then upgrade from there
...I may throw on a Vortex Strikefire or Sparc...eventually. But I will run her with iron sights for a while first.

I like her better dressed in the FDE. And the Hogue grip is worlds above the original.

Hey, nice rifle! Did you happen to buy yours at Cabelas? I wondered why all of the Windham's didn't have flags on them, then found out why like a month ago ha.

Yep, the flag and the heavy barrel (and also an upgraded trigger, if my understanding is correct) were a Cabela's "upgrade" I believe. I like having the flag on there They should all have it on there!

You're best bet is having your upper, lower, hand-guard, buffer tube and charging handle hard coated in FDE. This meets the military specification, paints do not. In addition, hard coat can hold the tolerances where duracoat and cerakote do not.
