Beautiful gun, Stick.  Noticing what I thought was your watermark is actually engraving on the right side of the magazine well.

Someday I hope someone will come to me asking to make a M4ger lower

Awesome as always Sir.

Just curious, what is the purpose of the riser on the AR15 platform?

Different reasons for everyone.  Some prefer the more "heads up" shooting style.  This is my NV rifle and for me, it helps with using my head mounted PVS-14 through the day optic.

He's saying there are benefits to/uses for a more "heads up" style of shooting, like what you have with the riser lol. Like clearing buildings.

You guys are total maniacs, but I like it.
I'm about to build another AR platform, probably in 6.8mm this time, and in FDE.

This is my most recent build,  some of these builds I've seen here have seriously inspired me!
Time for another 100+ hours of research and to work I go.

SBM4.  The improved version of the SB15.  Looks so much better in my opinion.

Before going through this whole thread, does anyone have a picture/AR with the following

Black:
Stripped Lower receiver
Stripped upper receiver

FDE
Lower parts
Upper receiver parts

If so any suggestions on what paint to use to get that on them and any techniques?

Thanks

My rifle when it used to be in FDE
