Looking at the Noveske diplomat upper for my SBR. Great pics. Anyone ever have any functional difficulties with the Diplomat 7.5" and surplus ammo?

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but a couple of questions on the KX3/Krink. What's the overall length, and can it be permanently attached to make the 16in. requirement? Just curious. help. Thanks gentlemen.

It can be done, but its not a good idea.

Ya I would think the KX3 wouldn't be effective on a 16" and not to mention it'd probably be pretty front heavy.  Doesn't it weight 7 oz or something like that?

Not to get away from pics but I just got my KHF last night and it sure is a beefy little brake.  Is the KX3 Lighter? Also is there an advantage to one over the other?

Where did you get your KHF and for how much? I'm thinkin' bout putting one on a 14.5" bushy.

Does this count?

It's a start.  14.5" barrel which I'm cutting down the 13.7 was supposed to be here today...it's not.  Throwing on a 13.5" rail.

Bought it off EE. It doesnt have a scratch on it and barely and carbon inside. I prefer the look of it to the KX3 but wouldnt mind the weight savings.

We painted the barrel for him, I had a tough time finding a paint that would match the Foliage furniture. I wound up putting a base coat of Satin Green and misting their ultra flat tan over the top. It came out pretty dang close!

Great pictures on page 2 Conndcj.  I have seen a lot of things mounted on an AR, but mounting a weber grill on the quad rails is a FANTASTIC idea!

The gun did not come complete like this, but the lower is one of the semi-complete Noveske lowers with a Magpul CTR and LMT trigger. The rare half is the upper. It is a Noveske marked/built Vltor VIS. Im not sure he's ever built one of his uppers on a VIS, so you might not find a Noveske marked VIS upper anywhere else. If you can, it wont be common. the VIS is a 10" (also not very common) with a PRI gas buster and a pinned 14.5" Noveske barrel.

It sure is sweet!
It is not mine!

Very nice selection of Noveske's.  I think all of his VIS uppers are marked for him now.  I have the same upper except with the 10.5" and it is marked.  It is the complete 10.5 CQB on the Vltor VIS.

The VIS is now a standard option on all of Noveske's rifles and uppers.

I recently got a 10.5 CQB N4 with a VIS upper that is marked like the one above.  Now I just have to wait for the Form 4 to clear.
