I've sat parts in front of a space heater so that they're hot enough that you can't hold on to them for very long, but not singeing your skin. Even Krylon turns out pretty tough when applied to hot parts.

Soak your spray can in hot water prior to spraying and it makes a huge difference in spray.  Smooth as butter I tell ya

I usually set the can where the space heater will blow on it to keep it warm as well.

Safe is boring.

I don't put it directly in it's path, just enough to warm it up before hand and keep it warm between coats.

The whole gun came from and was put together by Noveske, except for the optics of course.  It has an 18" barrel and shoots really well.   Here it again at my farm's 300-yard range:

He posted the same pic in the Mk18/CQBR thread around the same time IIRC, so I'm guessing he pasted the wrong link without checking it.

I dunno. He doesn't seem to have all his faculties about him. He posted that MRP in the Mk18 clone thread, and obviously the only thing that was correct was the letters C, Q and B.

Earlier Noveskes did this to denote a matched set.

If I recall they were only on factory completed rifles. I don't remember them on stripped matched sets. I bought mine around 2009.

Nice work as usual Sir.

A couple small packages arrived today which let me install a 60/90 Seekins selector and a Battle Arms BAD-EMMR for one of my Noveske/SR-15 mutts.

All I lack to make this rifle almost fully-ambidextrous is a LH magazine release which replaces the standard catch.

Is V Seven welcome on this thread?  It isn't Noveske per se, but made down the street in Grants Pass, OR by an ex Noveske tech so it is kinda related.  I figured this would be a good place to show off my build and try to find more info on the VSeven/Noveske relationship(please chime in if you are savvy on the subject.

I went into this, my second build, intending on building an SPR around an 18" Ballistics Advantage SPR profile BBL... something sub MOA capable out to 500yds, even though I'm not.  but I found this V7 forged receiver set (S/N just a little over 50) and fell in love with subtle billetesque machining.... it's looks , and logo screaming for a color fill inspired the build to take a little tangent, and I ended up putting a bunch of red shit on it. I'm working on toning it down a little and making it more SBRish. I would like to put more V7 titanium parts(port door cover, QD rear plate and castle nut) and one of their "Enlightened" hand guards... when funds are available.  It appears they are focusing their R and D on the lightweight market with titanium and ultra light aluminum alloys.

Upper:V Seven Forged
Ballistics Advantage Premium 18" SPR profile(guaranteed sub MOA)
.223 Wylde 1:8 twist with nickel boron extension 416R SS
Yankee Hill block
melonite coated gas tube
F1 brake
Nickel Boron(NIB1) coated BCG
Matrix Arms Charlie 15" Keymod (only $100!?!?)
Spike's FA
Spike's Polymer Dust Cover
Fortis Hammer

Lower:V Seven Forged
V Seven titanium takedown pins
POF 4.5 lb. single stage trigger & anti roll pins
Seekin's Ambi Saftey
Seekin's Trigger guard
Spike's Mag Release
Spike's Bolt Catch
MFT Minimalist Stock w/550 cord mod
MOE grip
Sand colored PMag boiled in red RIT dye
