Your website and brownells says that this product is discontinued. Will y'all be releasing a better version in the near future? Should I hold out for that or just find one online?

They are still available! Click on this link: http://www.blueforcegear.com/vickers-padded-sling/ to see them. (You have to select a color and choose your hardware in order for you to be able to order.) Based on customer feedback we did go back to the first style VCAS which makes it more adjustable. |

I am not seeing the option to have padding and sewn-in QDs on the website. Am I missing something?
How did you change them to be more adjustable? |

From what I understand the slings do not come with the quick buckle anymore, just an end for you to put a sling hardware on.

We're working on adding that as an option to the website. For now there are a few dealers out there who still stock the PB VCAS or you can call in. Chech out Brittney's explanation about 2/3rd's down here. "More adjustable" is probably not the best way to put it; more configurable maybe. The front attachment point is no longer two sewn in Loop Locs; it is now a threaded on triglide. The removal of the Quick Release kit as a standard configuration shaves $5-10 bucks off of MSRP while still allowing it to be added as an option for those that want it. Hope this helps! Stephen Hilliard Director of Product Development www.blueforcegear.com That's good news! I only use BFG VCAS slings with the QD sewn in, and I still need 2 more. I'll keep checking the website! Thanks for the info! |
