I dropped by a near by store store that carries a nice selection of tactical weapons after talking to one of the stores senior staff the day before to show him my SRC and he asked me if Windham manufactured their own lower assembly or bought it from one of the other manufacturers. That is a good question and I did not have a knowledgeable answer.
The store is Mike"s Outdoor Sports. |

We buy our lower forgings and lower parts forgings from a vendor but we have our local machine shop (who is also one of the owners of WWI) do all of the machining to our own specs.
Our finishing is also done locally to our own specs. |

Windham (ME)
Thanks for the reply as that was more or less what he said ( there are only 4 or 5 makers of the lower main frame, but thought I would post for a sure answer. |

The fellow at Mike's Outdoor Sports also mention that the store had a little over 500 AR-15 on order, just a shame that none are Windham which I would say is their lost.
