The length of the threads on a rifle is roughly 5/8th of an inch. Each of the silencers extends about 1/8th of an inch from the shoulder with the exception of the Maximus which is level with the shoulder. So take the length of any silencer and subtract 1/2 an inch and that is the total length added. If you want to know the total length added taking into account the muzzle device then subtract the length of the muzzle device that you are using from the total length of the silencer and subtract 1/2 of an inch.

Thank you, again! I posted to your response in another thread about this also...if I'm looking to have my 10.5" upper and silencer be about 16" total, is the M4SD-K my only real option?
The specs on the Griffin Maximus say it adds 5" of length, I take that to mean 5" from the end of my barrel (plus 1/8 inch).
Sorry for my stupidity on this. I'm pretty new to the game and want to get the ball rolling on a suppressor!
