Beowulf ammo goes out as fast as it is built. If it is in stock, we can ship immediately. If it is not, it has to wait until the next round of that particular projectile is run.
Please call us for availability, as keeping the web site up to date is virtually impossible with speed that Beowulf goes out! We are doing our best to catch up all back orders and stay current with all the projectiles, but we are still in the process. |

Maybe my timing was good, but when I was looking for fifty ammo, my local cabelas had plenty, another shop had some and AA shipped me some. THis was maybe two months ago.

I have had 50 ammo on order with a Distributor for at least 6 or 7 months and they have not gotten any in.
Are you only selling retail? |

Like retail orders, wholesale orders are shipped as they are received.
If your distributor ordered and has not received his order, please have him call us to check on its status. |

I would recomend that you order directly from Alexander . And also order in quantity as it usually takes a while to receive the order

In my experience you should plan for a 6 month wait to receive any Beowulf ammunition from AA. It is highly dependent on which load you select, so if you call you can find out if another load is available faster. Other than what they have immediately available in stock, communication from AA is nonexistent so when you order you really have no idea what timeframe to expect. You just make sure you are prepared for a several hundred dollar charge that could hit your account any time over the next year or so depending when AA finally ships your ammo.

I only waited 2 months for my order of the 400gr.
Luck of the draw I suppose, I am 3.5 months into my current order for 300gr gold dot.

Once I placed an order for an upper Beowulf I started buying ammo when I came across it. i found 4 boxes covered in dust and not even out on the retail floor at one of my local gun stores. One box of 325 HP Speer, two boxes of 335 FMJ Rainier and one box of 400 FP Hawk. I had to ask if they had any and the found it way in the back. Since then, in the last month or two another local gun store has had it in stock. I've found and purchased about 400 rounds of 400 Hawk.
I would love to find something other than 400 Hawk as it puts a huge dent in my wallet. I've been saving all my brass as I plan on learning to reload with this caliber. |

Here we go. A little under 6 months since I placed my order, and I received shipping confirmation from UPS today. Woohoo!
