Hello all,

Just wanted to share a good load that worked the best (as in tightest groups) from the range yesterday. I'm still trying to figure out what my Grendel prefers so this consider this a work in progress.

Hornady case with flash hole chamferred/deburred & primer pocket uniformed using Sinclair tools.
Hodgdon H4198 powder with 20.0 grains
Winchester Small Rifle primer
Berger 130 VLD Hunting projectile.

I don't own a chronograph (yet) so I can't tell you the FPS.

I'll keep you updated.

Agree! Then the rain came (part of Tropical storm Lee) and the paper was left at the range in the trash can.

I did forget to mention that I tried a couple of loads with Varget along with this one that all came from the ballistics folks (Bryan Litz) at Berger Bullets.
