I was at the range this weekend with a buddy and we all had some stuff to sight in. When we got to his freshly-scoped AR, we started having issues. He was trying to walk it into the paper, but he was very inconsistent and it was hard to get a line on where to shoot. He asked me to get behind the trigger and see what I could do.
I pulled the trigger once and my index finger would have puked if it had a mouth. He was using a bargain LPK fire control group.
I immediately had an Idea. I went over and pulled a lower off of one of my rifles with an SSA-E and put it on his upper then told him to try again.
Immediately he started grouping and we were able to get his rifle sighted in without issue. He was laughing in amazement with the difference a trigger could make. I told him it was a Geissele and he said he'd be ordering one soon.
