Not that anyone needed yet another Geissele Customer Service thread to be convinced, but I just wanted to toss one more testimonial into the ring.
After purchasing a
used SMR, I found that one of the QD swivels (obviously the one I wanted to use, this is the kind of luck I have
) was too tight to use any of my QD swivels.
After a call to Geissele--while some of them were still caught up in weather and not yet back from SHOT, where I told them point blank that I had bought the rail used, second-hand, from a private owner, not from them or a distributor, they told me to go ahead and send it in.
To add insult to injury, I asked if it was possible, because I had been wanting to buy another rail section for it as well--if, while they had my rail, it would be possible to try to get as close to an exact color match as possible (I am fully aware of the DDC disclaimer, and I said that I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, just, if possible, as close as they had in stock).
After seven days, mailbox to mailbox, not only did I get the rail back repaired free of charge, with an almost perfectly matched rail section included--but it also came with a "swag pack," including another hat. Even my Velcro was still in place!
