I completely endorse these mounts. They are phenomenal. Not counting the 20 MOA needed to account for the AI rail, the entire thing was less than 0.4 MIL off of zero (6.5CM) after mounting.

To be completely fair, the last scope I mounted was a Strike Eagle in the Chinese made Vortex mount. The first 3 shot group at 50 yards was less than 1" from the bullseye. I wouldn't exactly use that as a measure of parts quality, although I AM happy with that combo, and so is the person I gave it to.

Why were the 2099 mounts discontinued? I know what my sources say, but would like to know what you have to say.
Also, why were they done initially? As proof of concept or "because you could", or did they serve a legitimate purpose over 7075?
