My hammer pin is not walking completely out, but it's not staying flush. I have the retaining D clip installed correctly. It just appears as if there is some play in the pin somewhere.
So what will happen is I push the pin in flush with both sides of the receiver. Then I dry fire the trigger. Once dry fired one time, the trigger pin will correct itself to where it likes to sit, which is about 2mm out of the left trigger hole and not flush. It's about halfway flush(about half the width of the receiver side is holding the pin that it's walking away from.)
The pin isn't walking all the way out, but I just don't like the way it is now. Honestly....since I've installed that trigger, I just haven't shot that gun much.
I did have an ALG QMS trigger in that receiver before and it didn't have this problem, everything was fine. Any thoughts? I can post photos as needed. I also have some KNS pins, but I'm not sure if it could damage my receiver or BCG if used with the Geissele triggers. Perhaps since the G2S has a different retaining mechanism than the standard Geissele triggers, the KNS pins would be ok?
