A year ago, Geissele made some custom complete uppers for Cola Warrior prizes. Why? Because he's awesome, I don't know. But where the rail sections of the receiver and rail meet, there was a semicircular 'tongue' on the rail that slipped into a concave 'groove' in the upper receiver. Not only does it act as an antirotation tab, but it tightens up when the rail is installed so anything you have on the rail (e.g. front sight, laser, etc) will return to at least close to wherever it was originally zeroed. A upper/rail combo with the return to zero tab like the CW uppers had. Better if the upper was a WAR upper receiver. I'm in the market. what is a CW upper with an RTZ tab? @ RXM^^^ I don't like putting stickers on my car so I end up putting them on my toolboxes. If you guys made the Geissele "G" into a chrome 3d type decal or magnet, like the raised lettering or logos on the back of vehicles I would put one on my truck. It would probably look good in black, DD and tan too.

I think there are plans to release the license plate frames once things get settled at the new shop but don't quote me on that. Only a handful were made (proof of concept I guess) and they came out pretty nice. I'm rocking one on my car and get a few honks here and there (without the middle finger).

A two stage Remington 700 trigger would be tits…heck, any trigger for a Remmy 700 would be nice. I put a Timney in my AICS build a couple months ago. It's better than the stock unit, but now I chuckle when I listen to bolt gun guys talk about how sweet Timney triggers are.
A 10/22 trigger would be cool too, if you could keep it reasonably priced. And for something a little easier…a Super Tricon Enhanced. :-) |

This is exactly what I envisioned when I found out Geissele made uppers for some custom builder last year and asked about them being available for us to purchase. I dont have so much an interest in swapping out rails on one rifle but on a precision build, if I take the rail off to clean, it would be nice to know it was going back Exactly where it came off of. Since I am very anal about vibrations etc. I never saw the Cola Warrior uppers anyone have pics? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Part of the thinking behind the design of the SMR is that you can keep the barrel nut in place and swap out the entire rail if you want to do such a thing. You could have preconfigured rails with everything already attached, say between day and night or for different uses. I don't know how well the alignment screws on the SMRs would keep it zeroed if removed (probably fairly well, at least), but having a rail and receiver that are factory made to be perfectly aligned is a really nice touch. Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys cant go wrong as long as you continue on the path you're on as far as quality goes.
Lets get a full G rifle going . |

Someone recommended an adjustable gas block. I'd like that too. |

I just bought a legacy model MK4 on blowout because I can't stand keymod. Was hoping to get a keyed one somehow but regular would have to do.

Please, for the love of Vincent Rocco, stop it with the keymod. That's too much. That's WAY too much. Please, no. Geissele, please continue to offer the Mk4 SMR "classic" (i.e. no keymod). It's just that I like it the way it is and don't need it all keymoddy. Pretty please? I'll be your best friend. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

QMS and ACT triggers with a flat trigger face like the Super Dynamics!

I'd like to see the original lower cooling holes go back to ovals or however they originally were. Basically a run of the original Mk1 design, maybe with the barrel nut improvements.

From what I understand, the change was made to reduce weight. Would you guys go back to the Mod 0 design even though it would add more weight back on?

How would you guys finish off the rifle if the rail is anodized in multicam? Hydrodip, duracoat, etc?
|
|
I think it would look good if the upper and lower receivers were anodized a tan/fde color, and the furniture and magazines were hydro-dipped multicam.

How would you guys finish off the rifle if the rail is anodized in multicam? Hydrodip, duracoat, etc? View Quote My plan, if I can acquire a multicam smr, is to match with a cerakote burnt bronze upper/lower, multicam dipped grip, mags, and stock if I do a rifle rather than pistol. (Depends on length of rail). I may however stick with solid color furniture, using magpul parts dyed to match the multicam colors of the rail. Really need to have the rail in hand to see the color with my own eyes first. hint, hint |

Multicam is so yesterday, kryptek is where it is at! I think we are like chick's sometimes matching shoes and hand bags like we match gun parts colors.

Most multicam dips are too bright for my taste. I really like the more subdued look of the anodized SMR that was shown at SHOT. |

I figured if anyone could improve upon the original it'd be you guys. Oh yeah, no keymods on my Deathstar please. |
