bump to keep this up top. My mr762 gets here next week :) Trust me, no one wants this more than I do. I have a LR-308 waiting on this Sure. You can probably go grab a prototype from the bin and be done. Thats what i chose to believe anyway. |
Is there a rough timeline on putting these out? Trying to decide if I should start gathering parts for my 762 now, or if I have time.
Please make it a mk4 style in DDC. I'll be mucho happy. |

Just let us know if its going to be 2015 before we see this thing so we don't get our hopes up. I have a badass rifle with a Geissele National Match DMR waiting on this handguard in Black.
Cue Jeopardy music....duh nuh nuh nuh duh nuh nuh... Bryant |

I would prefer one in DDC. To match all my other geissele mk4 rails

Oh...
Cola Warrior AR308 = CWAR-Heavy Only took a couple of days to figure it out. |

I saw Sagmill at the grocery store yesterday and he tried not to make eye contact; he knew I was going to ask about the rail. I tackled him at the express checkout lane and asked him for a ETA on that rail. Folks, there are a lot of projects in the works and this one is going to take time - so plan on it being released later on.

So you're saying I have to set aside even more money?
Sigh... Fine I'll do it, but only because I know it will be worth it. |

Anyone want to make a wager that I will or won't get the suppressor I just ordered before Geissele's 7.62 rail hits the market?
It actually hasn't shipped to my FFL yet. So my transfer hasn't even been submitted to the ATF. I wonder which one I will get my hands on first, the Geissele rail one the suppressor? |
Can
I NEED the rail for a class that I want to purpose build a rifle for. But maybe Sagmill can hook me up before Feb????? |

I beg to differ but still no dice...

You prude. I'll wash his car topless.
Just want a rail to build my rifle so I can take it to a super awesome class and have the most badass rig there |

Let's get 3 Mk4 7.62 rails made. Me. Michigan_man and RXM. We will test the fuck out of them. 800rd class. Seems like a good test. |

Does anyone happen to know where one might, hypothetically of course, send a gift or "bribe" that would definitely find it's way to Sagmill?
I work for a food distribution company and I am sure I could put together one Hell of a gift basket. I'm talking gourmet jerky, organic peanut butter, fabulous jams and jelly's the works. This is all, of course, hypothetical. |

Banking huh?
Okay, lets remember this is a group effort for the benefit of everyone. We should pool our resources, you with a basket full of banking stuff, I'm guessing that means pens and probably paper. And me with delicious, nutritious, wholesome foods of many a variety. Or something... |
If you really thi k money would help, sure why not.
I figured Geissele pretty much just prints money as it is now and Sagmill having to trip over more of it might not be all that helpful. But it's worth a shot. |
Good point. I can offer some pretty sweet office supplies. Also. Long cake and good Louisiana food. You know, stuff with flavor.
He's aware folks are waiting for the rail but there are other cool projects in the works that will surely test the limits of your credit card's limits :)
I've barely tapped into my geissele budget for the year. Bring it.
Yeah, I'm not so sure.
I'll have to see it to believe it. I mean, what else can my 7.62 Noveske N6 need besides the Geissele rail? I'm having trouble imagining the answer, maybe RXM should enlighten us... |
Sagmill thinks up of cool products; some are crazier than kung fu and others are just "why didn't someone think of this before?" Just wait till SHOT Show.
I just checked and that's damn near four months away.
So, are you saying you think the 308 rail will be at Shot Show or the thing that took presidence over the 308 rail will be at Shot Show and the 308 rail is now just a twinkle in Sagmill's eye? |
I don't have timelines but Sagmill said that the .308 rail is in the works. I know there is one prototype that's being tested right now. I sent him an email to send it back to us b/c T&E is over. He called my bluff and told me to go pound sand. His words, "What are you going to do, fly to Texas and rip it from my hands?"
