My Saker 762 is getting impatient bro! Killin' me smallz!

Needless to say, this has been a learning experience for all involved, LOL.
BE Meyers has beat the war drums some, getting highest levels of ownership involved to kick some ass and get people to return emails, calls, and keep everyone updated. Will get y'all news as soon as I get it. Mostly, I want to measure the production models with my calipers ASAP! |

So apparently, the first batch of flash hiders have finally shipped from the manufacturers!
I think the constant badgering finally paid off! Now here's the nail biting part: the engineers still have to QC and inspect every single one too make sure that they are good to go... Sucks, but that's just how it is. I had a feeling things would be late, but not two months late. You live and you learn: the employees have threatened to quit if I do any more pre-orders/pre-sales so won't be doing that again. For all who put their faith in me, thank you! I'll make sure everyone gets hooked up with a free calendar and swag on these -Roy |

I was hoping to have this for Jade Helm 2015. By the time this ships, there won't be a Texas left to protect.

Roy,
You just need to remind them that the shot shot flier stated the END of February. Although it didn't say the year. PS: I have a copy of that flier. |

Updates are: every single person who pre-ordered is gonna get hooked up! We're going to be sending these out with our calendar, posters, etc.
This project was definitely a learning experience for all involved. Having two picky engineering teams working on this ensured a superior product. Buttttttttttttt, yeah, being a few months late was kinda lame. |

Got mine. looks really nice!!! Thanks for all the extra swag
|
|

|
BTW I also noticed that Rainier Arms is now selling these. Is W.O. no longer the only civilian reseller of the B.E. Meyers products?
|
|
|
WO is now the sole distributor of BE Meyers products, but is no longer the sole dealer.
Read that some where on his web sight. WO is where my $ will always go for all thing BE Meyers, and other items they sell. In fact they will be doing a few Pin and Weld's with some of the ones I purchased. |

And glad y'all like the swag! Report back on performance when you can! |

I haven't mounted mine yet (will do so sometime in the next day or two). But one thing I immediately noticed was they don't provide timing washers with the flash hider. You might argue that you only really need to time a muzzle break, but aligning the logos would be sweet for those of us who are perfectionists.
SilencerCo provides timing washers with their trifecta mounts - note that these are different from the crush washers. Reason I bring this up is that SilencerCo tells you NOT to use crush washers with the trifecta...I assume its the exact same with this mount. I probably have enough timing washers to get the job done, but I just wanted to raise it as feedback. Maybe next round they include some with the muzzle device. SilencerCo gives you a whole bunch of them with trifecta, and they can't be expensive to include for the price that's being charged for this device. I'll post some pics when I get this thing mounted. |

The using of washers was a big point of contention.
BEM obviously would prefer the placement of their logo... and I wanted the washers because of use with 13.7s. Silencerco strongly, strongly prefer that there is nothing between the muzzle device and the barrel for the sake of suppressor alignment though! Right now, we suspect the 249 Saker will result in a 16.000" barrel when pinned to a 13.7" barrel. Obviously, for the sake of erring on the side of caution, a shim would make me feel a lot better hahaha. Have more 13.7" barrels from Ballistic Advantage EN ROUTE, so i'll get one put together on a demo build ASAP. |

I'll have them shortened to 14" and error on the safe side.

That doesn't make sense to me though Roy because they give you shims/timing washers with the trifecta muzzle breaks.

I started mounting mine yesterday. I'm using timing washers made specifically for mounting and timing muzzle devices.
My problem that I ended up needing 3 of the same thickness so far. But they do sell them separately. http://precisionarmament.com/product-category/muzzle-devices/accu-washers/ I bought mine from a seller on ebay as is was more convenient for me to do so. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201298959441?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

I finally was able to get to the range with my SBR that now has the 249-Saker installed on it. Previously I was running a standard SiCo Trifecta RS.
It does what it says on the box. I was shooting XM193 (from a lot that has proven to be particularly hot), with no noted flash. It still mounts up my Saker quite happily as well. Now, for those of you who dread the tuning fork ping that some FH's make...this one does it as well. Solution? Put a Saker on there, and quit worrying. Or, shoot more, so the bullets make more noise than the FH ringing. Also, when pulling the Saker off the rifle, the ring makes it almost seem like a sword being pulled from a scabbard. Perhaps that's just my inner nerd who has read too much TH White though... Anyways, fantastic bit of kit, and I can fully recommend going with this as opposed to the other Saker muzzle devices. |

I forgot that a few months ago I talked to Silencerco about getting some shims from them. Haven't heard back (they were gonna do it) but i'm assuming they've just been slammed with their new intergral pistol and mini can launch
I'll get back to em and see if I can get official silencerco shims for future orders, and for anyone who wants em who's already gotten one of the 249 Sakers |
