I haven't, and there are two reasons.
1-it costs $295. I mean, come on guys. First I buy the Saker partly because it will mount onto an A2 FH, then you tell me it won't do that after all (although the MAAD-A2 mount does in fact exist), then you tell me just the MAAD adapter costs $310, and to add insult you then sell the MAAD brake that is significantly more material/machining for $295?
2-because it has the end cap, it has to have holes on the side. The whole point of what we are asking for is to redirect the sound from where we are to downrange of where we are; holes in the side does not help.
Yes, I still think the Saker and MAAD rock. No, I don't appreciate some of the decisions SiCo has made.
ETA: 1b-although not directly related to the topic of a blast shield, it also sucks that SiCo will not sell a MAAD-Omega mount, when in fact they do exist. It seems kind of idiotic that it took Freedom Group to make AAC suck, while it seems SiCo may be on the way to voluntarily self-sucking.
And yes I want an Omega.
