GS-3150 | Stubby VFG - Coming Soon!
We have had numerous requests for a shorty VFG and even though it has been on the white board for quite some time, we decided that with the increased amount of requests it was time to bump it up the list. Samples are currently being cut and T&E units will be shipping out shortly. Our goal was to create a short VFG to be used as a reference point which can be used in conjunction with our hand stops to provide a consistent, repeatable hold on the weapon. This is a no frills, no bells and whistles implementation designed to mount rock solid and give a lifetime of service to the end user. It is being machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum and has been cored out to save weight. We have modified our standard interface to allow the VFG to mount as a rock on mount instead of a slide on mount like previous iterations in this line up. This will make installation quicker and easier. Height has been set at 2.25" above the rail surface which is equivalent to a shorty TD without the tail cap.Furthermore, it features the same contour as all our low profile components which mate flush with standard Tango Down rail panels for a clean, smooth, uninterrupted rail space.
Price has yet to be determined, but we are shooting for the $60 - $70 dollar mark which is on par or below equivalent offerings. |

That is so freakin awesome dude! Nicely done! It looks more like a piece of tactical CNC art than a piece of gear. I really like it!!!

I'd buy two, one in black and another in FDE to match my handstops I got from you :)

I'm currently using your hand stops with LaRue FUGs in the above configuration.
I will switch from the FUGs to your VFG if you're designing this VFG to fit tight against the edge of the 'hand stop'. Are you engineering it not have gaps when using them together? |

In order to run them like the above configuration, you'll still need a panel to fill the gap to create the desired distance. |

They're on the website, but aren't listed as in stock. Did I miss the boat on the first batch....or have they not been listed yet? I clicked on the "notify me please" button for the FDE stubby, I'm looking forward to trying one of these out.

Negative. We are very close to having the first production run available. Being this close, we put the listing up so people could get on the notification list. I clicked on the "notify me please" button for the FDE stubby, I'm looking forward to trying one of these out.
You will be notified via email just as soon as they are in stock and ready to ship. For the record, black will be available first. All other colors 2-3 weeks later. |

How did you decide on the length? I ended up cutting a TD grip to this length on my rifle. I find it ideal for a VFG.
