Edit: The CAV-15 Mold has been sold to GWACS Armory of Tulsa OK http://www.gwacsarmory.com/
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––- When Cavalry Arms closed down last year, I took the opportunity to purchase the CAV-15 mold and IP. Unfortunately, the BATFE wasn’t convinced there was a complete separation from the former owners. My association with the old Cavalry Arms prompted the government to want me to fulfill more requirements than a “normal” applicant would have had to do. Even though they have no issue at all with the product (I can provide tech branch approval letter), my completion of their requirements still wouldn’t have guaranteed I would get the FFL. From a financial perspective, it made no sense for me to move forward on this, so I’ve decided to sell the mold and IP rights. After a series of false-starts with several prospective buyers, I have decided to put the CAV-15 mold and Intellectual Property Rights up for sale publicly. Be prepared to invest between $60,000-$150,000 (depending on existing production facilities owned by the buyer) to get the operation up-and-running…but that investment can be earned back within the first or second run of receivers. Please, serious inquiries only. I apologize for not coming out publicly with this sooner, with multiple interested parties I believed it would have been resolved a lot sooner. This is an ideal project for a small company looking to get into the business, or a large company looking to expand their product line. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to run the business myself, with almost 10 years of my life invested in working on the product, but I am motivated to help whoever buys it get it up and running and move the product line forward. Is the 60-150 including the mold or separate?
Ballpark on the mold? |

What exactly are you looking to do? Are you looking to divest yourself entirely and sell the seeds or would you remain a part of the operation, and if so in what capacity? Is that even feasible given the relationship issues?
I am located in Gilbert. I will sign an NDA. I will listen to your elevator pitch but I want to *see* hard numbers. I'm not as interested in being a gun manufacturer as I am in making money. You can IM me or get my direct line from mjrowley. ![]() |

Whoever purchases these molds I'd seriously like to work for you or partner with you in producing these receivers. I wish I had the money to buy them because I love the idea of a polymer receiver.

I've been looking for the right opportunity to cross my path. The timing is terrible but I'm still going to look into financing this venture. I sure hope someone else hasn't scooped this up without the thread being updated. I know it's crazy but I have to try to see what I can put together.
