Talk about tunnel vision. I just spent more time than I care to admit wondering what happened to the bolt drop. Looks great though! |
|
|
Hehe, I used my much abused Dremel to cut it off. Ares charges for everything, so I didn't figure a modified bolt catch was included (front and rear sight, SAW box adapter weren't included) so I cut off one of mine

Lol not sad, nice carbine! Have you tried using the black screws (included) to provide some contrast to the levers?

Thanks Duffy, I was going to try out the black ones but forgot about them until you said something. So, yea, I just installed them and like it better with the black screws. Thanks again for a great product! |

When you take away everything a man has, don't be surprised when he acts like a man with nothing to lose.

I have been tossing the idea of a Viper PST 1-4 and that stock myself. Thanks That's Ol' Faithful, the first AR I ever assembled completely from individual parts. A little heavy, but she has always been reliable and accurate as I can be. I've heard nothing but good things about the Vipers. Good luck. |

Hehe, in light of what happened to Recoil, I made sure I worded it carefully, lest it should sound like I was calling rhaney02 a kiss ass, which he definitely isn't. KICK ASS, both rhaney02 and his wonderfully equipped ARs, for sure
I apologize if it was taken out of context, and I may issue an apology after, and for the first apology |
