I've had a request for a sticky topic to post pics of your DSC/J&T Distributing builds. Once I get back in the shop and get a chance I'll post some pics of some of my better builds.

Here's one that my buddy built....he decided he didn't like AR's....so I bought it off him....This is excellent carbine--I love it. It's the EM4 kit...chrome-lined and a hogue grip. I have NO reservations of purchasing further kits...and recomending them to anyone looking to build an AR platform. Infact, my nieghbor and his son are having me build them AR's they will both be built using J&T kits...

I have built two J&T kits so far, and have helped my best friend and brother-in-law build theirs this past week!
![]() Top is my daughter's M4gery and the bottom was my first J&T, a 20" A3. ![]() The Phantom on the M4 was installed by J&T, and the entire rifle looks GREAT! I absolutely adore these AR's, and they went together within 40 minutes. With the directions available here on ARFCOM, it was super-easy, and the parts are all beautiful quality! I've fired it many times with no malfunctions. I look forward to many more J&T kits in the future! NOBAN Update. I had the compensator removed on my A3 and had a standard A2 FH put on in its place. My barrel is now threaded, and with the exception of a bayo mount (will probably get that done later this year), it's as evil as an A3 can get and still look "stock." www.burnerblog.com/images/noban11.jpg |

Jesse,
Thank you so much for all your help and personal attention in getting me exactly what I wanted for my wife. Outstanding service and the kit is awesome, sorry the pics are crap. 14.5" lightweight chrome lined w/Phantom on an A1 Upper w/ A2 sight apperture Here it is as built (First Timer - took approx. 30-45 minutes) from the kit (Except no HG-4 HG's): ![]() And here it is as it will actually be used: ![]() Talk about light (about 5lbs. maybe?), fast and balancing well! The Cav-Arms lower has a J&T Parts kit in it BTW. Thank You! NS6 |

Redbone,
Thanks man, I put a lot of thought into my wife's rifle and now am finding I like it better than my rifle. To answer your question, it's a 16" chrome lined lightweight kit ($499.95) with a Phantom upgrade (+$20) that's been shortened to 14.5" , threaded, and permanently attached by J&T($60). (Make sure you tell them to use an A2 Apperture on your A1 upper.) The Cav-Arms lower was from their Christmas special a year or two ago so it was $80 from them. $660 total and couldn't be happier. Hope that helps, NS6 |

Built 1st ar using a DPMS forged lower and a J&T varmint kit (16" fluted bull barrel) The finish of both are almost identical. Still working on breaking it in. VERY happy with it. showed it to a friend who is a Marine and pro-Bushy. He was thoroughly impressed. sorry no pics.

Here are mine. A 20" standard and a DS-4.
The M4 has a YHM free float tube. The final configuration will sport an Eotech with a CCH BUIS, Tango Down vertical grip and Surefire G2. Both are on Eagle Arms lowers. They fit perfectly with no slop. ME LIKE |

2 quick questions before I order. Does the DS-4 have M4 feed ramps and do the upgraded handguards have double heat sheilds?

Very very very happy with J&T. Ordered Saturday night, at my door from the big brown truck on Wednesday. Flat-top 20" on a Lauer lower. First build and went together in 2 hours taking my time and cleaning everything. All parts were there and great quality. Nice trigger for a "service grade rifle". I will buy from J&T again.

I just posted this in the ameetec forum, but I might as well put it here too. It's an Ameetec lower with a J&T kit. This is my third AR, but it's my first build and my first reliable AR. I'm very pleased.
