I see these are listed as "buy now" items on your website. Are they shipping? Are they as pictured on the site (integrated optic mount)?
Thanks! UPDATE: On Wed 27 Aug, I received a UPS shipping confirmation! |

At this time only the bottom rail section is available. If I buy the bottom section, do I get the optic rail portion for free later on? |
|
Unfortunately, once the MP5 Kit is available it will be only sold as a kit so we will not be able to break up the top and bottom portions. The current MP5 rail is a different product from the MP5 Kit and is only the bottom rail. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Sounds great. Be sure to make a huge announcement when it comes out. There are tons of people both here and over on HKPro who would love to get their grubby hands on them. I'm wanting both the MP5 version and the one for the HK33 (hoping it will fit a PTR32 PDW that will be SBRed)

We will certainly let you know when it will be released. Bump |

Alright, I ordered one.
We will see how things turn out. If/when this turns up as promised (2 pieces including top rail), people are gonna be placing lots of orders, IMO. |

Will with work on an MP5K-PDW? View Quote Looks like its for a full sized MP5. The PDW's have a much shorter barrel. I'll let yall know when it shows up. |

How about for the SD? I haven't received it yet, but it looks WAY too small for the SD. |

Good luck getting one. I preordered a rail and mount for my MP5 over a year ago and I've heard nothing from Troy.

Update: The following is an email exchange with Stefan at TroyInd and is posted here with his permission.
From: lilMAC Sent: Friday, February 22, 2013 11:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: MP5 Battlerail W/Integrated Optic rail Any word on when these will be available? I was originally told they were going to be out for public consumption by October of 2012. Then I was told that they would be ready for Shot Show '13 and I believe I've read that some were exhibited at Shot Show '13. Is there any information available? I'd much prefer the reasonably priced Troy system (I have a Troy Tube on my 300 BLK Upper and I love it) to the insanely priced KAC system. Thank you, lilMAC -------------------------------------- llMAC, I just got done talking to the engineers. Here is the low down. We just got the final sample for the rails. We need to test them. If everything is fine we will move them to production. It does look a little different than the pictures online. I do not have an eta when they will be available. Looks are NOT important to me, fit and function are far more important. I do have one on order from you guys and I will wait. Just as an FYI, there are rather large contingents of HK collectors who would be interested in this item and the versions for the G3 series. Please make an announcement online when available and feel free to pass on any info you get down the road. With your permission, I will post what you've told me onto HKPro.com and the AR15.com HK section. Thanks again, llMAC ----------------- I actually tested the g3 rail everything went smooth. I just don’t know when its hitting production. Thank you, Stefan Ayotte |

Is the time frame for the G36 rails about the same as the MP5?
|
|
Any word if a rail will be available for the mp5k in the future?

As of right now I don't have an ETA for either. Thanks. Please let the people in charge know that HK owners want these item! They're in demand! |

Stefan, thanks again. It's always a pleasure speaking to you.
Appreciate you putting up with me bugging you and also for keeping us in the loop as far as what is in the pipeline. |

The first batch of 50 are in the manufacturing process at the moment.

Ugh, called again to check (Stefan is at Shot, so I spoke to Allison) and was told that there is NO update on the MP5 Battlerail at this time.
|
|
Any movement here? Supposedly there was a run of these waiting to be lasered with logo.
I want one. Let's bring these to market. I don't even need packaging. Hell scratch the logo into the powder coat with a rusty nail. |

Ho hum. Does Troy even bother anymore? View Quote I seriously doubt it. I remember ordering one on their website a couple years ago and posted some info on HKpro. They (Troy) said I'd have it in hand in under 60 days, but that was the last I've heard despite a few emails I've sent. But they do have a new pump action ARbomination! And according to G&A it comes standard with the same intruder brown note that Remington includes on their 870. Great value! |
|
What pisses me off the most is that they already have some built.
They're just sitting there. What the $&@$ |
|
For anyone else watching this thread.
I just got off the phone with Alyssa at Troy. She is with sales. According to her, the MP5 Battlerail with integrated optic rail is 1 month out. I've been told this many times, so I'm not holding my breath, but that's what I was just told. |
|
Here's hoping they actually deliver on their promises. It would save me from sending my MP5 off to have an optics rail welded on.

Spoke to TroyInd today and these are allegedly in stock and ready for purchase.

IT'S HERE!
I'm going to have to mod the top rail by cutting off a 1/4" or so on the rear end because the rear irons are too far forward on this firearm. Dremel time baby! Other than that, this is a fantastic piece of equipment, IMO. |
