I bought a Di-optic fixed rear sight 2nd hand and wanted to know what sight picture do you want for the small (300-550) aperture?
Centered is 300~ and lined up with the open top 550~ ? How exactly are you supposed to zero this one? 50yd zero by the large aperture? |

Good Afternoon
If you are sighting in you want to use the larger aperture at 25 yards. When shooting at 300 yards you want the the front sight post dead center in the smaller aperture. If you are shooting at 550 yards you want the front sight post on the white line at the top on the smaller aperture. Please let us know if you need any additional information. |

I like to use the Lt Col Santose IBZO with a 50 yard near zero. Will that equate to the IBZO 200 yard zero with the small aperture? And what about the 550 yard mark on the small aperture?
