Finally got a chance to take the rifles out and run them with the new charging handles. Bought one for each. Worked extremely well.

Did quite a lot of Malf drills and working the handle was smooth and easy. I have other handles with the upgraded latches and when yanking them back I can feel the handle bend and twist when fully extended. The Core-15 handle did not.

I ran it with gloves on and without. Couple of times I could only get a hold on the very end of the handle just due to speed and manipulating the rifle counter clockwise to verify the mag release and chamber was clear. The serrations on the extended part of the handle allowed for a secure grip. The gloves grabbed a bit more than when bare handed, but even then it was secure enough to verify empty/clear. Also made for a solid grip when working the handle before and after mag swap.

Extended part of handle does not stick out very far and is smooth enough it did not catch on anything when transitioning to pistol with a one point sling. Which is VERY nice considering my Badger Ord one stabs me when transitioning if I am not careful.

I did not have any issues at all with the handle, it is build solid and rigid. Well worth the price tag and I am extremely pleased with it. Hell, I may buy a few more to put on my other rifles!

KISS carbine.
