Well after I let my younger brother (he's 20) shoot my newly built AR, he actually was a better shot than me
 and figured I could take this opportunity to get closer/bond with him. Im going to help him build a M468/Rec 7 clone from scratch but with the standard AR .223 gas system/setup.
I was wondering does the stripped upper listed on the Barret site work for .223 even though its stated 6.8? Also I know or am pretty sure they use an Omega X 9" rail on a 16" M4 cut mid-length barrel (correct me if Im wrong). Also what kind of lower do they use, Im guessing LMT? And lastly, does anyone know what exact pistol grip/stock is standard from Barret for the Rec7 or M468? I see a bunch of different configurations though dont know which ones are user modified and stock. |

that is two different calibers. barrett has a REC7 5.56 upper you can buy

Forgot to clarify, I meant STRIPPED upper receiver.

The front sight base/ gas block are proprietary Barrett. Doubt you will find anything similar to it.
