I notice there are various DD lower receiver caliber markings. Here are a few I found online:
What is the reason for the different markings? Have some been phased out or are they all still currently in use? Also, can someone post a photo of the current lower/caliber markings on a DDM4 V7, for example? Thanks. |

The 3 photos you posted are a progression in the markings that Daniel Defense has used. The order they fall into from oldest to newest is: 2, 1, 3. The 3rd photo is the current marking pattern that we use. If you have any other questions, please dont hesitate to contact me.

Glad I snagged a V5 with 5.56 before the change, I hate all the "Multi" you see one everyones lowers now.
