Another Bushmaster "Buy a Bushy because they're the greatest. They are really good at fixing the crap they produce (that should never have passed QC the first time) on your dime and time!" Fan.
AS IF! This thread adds clarity to my momma saying "Go take a BM and don't forget to wipe!". The BEST warranty is the one you never need. Yeah. If you want a rifle screwed together by Jughead with a wrench-go ahead. They'll fix it after you pay for it, wait for it, have a damn fit when you see how "well" it's made, send it back and wait for Jughead to fix his obvious screw-up, then wait for it some more. Read the Bushmaster forum. It is beyond me how peopple can suffer through this BS and still be queer for a brand. UPS (or whoever) is probably making as much profit off BM rifles as Bushmaster, with all this mailing rifles back and forth. E Nuff. Rock River is great stuff. Won't soon buy any other. BS Shooter needs to take his BM fascination and unsubstantiated remarks and go pound sand.
OH NOOOOooooo!

Bushmaster gunsmiths did a great job on my AR15. It took only two weeks to get it back. They opened up the mag well which was originally so tight that it was hard to insert or remove any one of my mags. The weapon had a Zero of 23 click left with A1 sights. Too much for my liking. They also addressed the feeding problems that were all too frequent. While it was in the shop, I requested that they change the A1 upper to an A2 upper. I already have an A1 upper on my 9mm Colt, and this upper was badly butchered on the very top of the receiver and under the carry handle. It looked really bad, but had it functioned properly I would have left it alone. They were going to reuse my barrel, but instead they just pinned on a brand new A2 upper complete with barrel. They also test fired her before shipping her back. The A2 upper was done for $30, wich is the difference in cost between the A1 and A2 uppers. The weapon came back in a new hard case, with a new factory ten rounder. I sent it to them in a cardboard box, with no case. That was very cool of them considering that I told them on the phone how I trashed the factory frankenmag after a bad day at the range that resulted in more FTF's than shots fired! Thus far I am very pleased with Bushmasters customer service. Now I have to get back to the range in PA and see how well she functions and get her Zeroed.
