Hello, I've purchased several uppers from RRA, either direct mail order or at Camp Perry (Love your booth by the way). All of them have keyhole forge markings (not cardinal). I bought them directly from you - so I know they are really RRA uppers (and they shoot great too by the way). One year, I bought a RRA "Blemished" upper from a 3rd party booth (also at Camp Perry). Getting ready to do a build with it now, for High Power, I wondered what was blemished about it anyway. So it looks like the finish on the inside is a little off (don't care), and the rail system number markings are dim (don't care), but otherwise looks fine. The RRA logo is on there and looks good, per normal. But now I'm curious, because the forge marking is a simple square, where all my others have a keyhole. Is that normal?
Did I get snookered, and someone just RRA logo'd someone else's upper?
The reason I ask, is I'm about to make a High Power build out of this upper, and I know RRA makes good solid strong uppers. So I sure hope it's one of yours, and maybe you guys had a run of square forged uppers? (that are just fine structurally I hope?)
