I've noticed a few dealers saying there will be no more 94k and 94P imported. What's the story?

At this time, due to circumstances at the factory, MKE will no longer be selling to the United States. This is an internal MKE issue on their side so that's all we have available to say about it at this time.

This was the news I needed to jump on the 94p. I already have an SBR 94k and now I'll have to do the paperwork for the P as well. Too bad they wont be getting any more in for a while if ever.

How will this translate for warranty work if parts are needed? I was thinking of picking up a AT-94K at the last gun show, but bought a FN PS90 instead. I do still want a AT94K though............

We have kept a few pieces of each on hand and have stripped for repair parts. unfortunately, just like additional magazines, MKE never sent us any of the repair parts we ordered, so we have sacrificed some of our inventory and luckily, return rate for service has been very low.

Will this affect shipments of the MP5 mags as well?

We've never actually received any extra magazines from MKE at all despite ordering about 20,000 of them in 2009. The AT94P & K models don't have the capacity restrictions the rifles had, so you can use regular H&K MP-5 mags or aftermarket knock off MP-5 mags in the pistols just fine. ATI used to import some knock off mags from South Korea, but we stopped because their quality was.....questionable at best. Currently ATI does not carry any MP-5 mags at all.

Do you have any idea, how many of each model were imported?

I managed to find one friday, they said they had 14 left.
My box is dated 4/2010, was the first/2nd/3rd shipment ? My welds look really good, but I have the solid pin welded where the pushpins were just filled on previous shipments? Im also interested in the imported total numbers? |

Due to the limit of what we kept and needing to have things on hand for customers who purchased the guns and might need warranty parts, none of the parts we kept for warranty purposes are for sale. Sorry guys. Not that we don't want to make a buck and appreciate your business, but we have to be able to service what we can for people who bought the guns with our warranty.
