What is the difference between the recon SR 14.7 and the recon 16 other than the length?

Is the 14.7 .300 barrel going to be available in a lightweight profile like the 16?

I'll post here rather than starting a new thread.

I ordered a barrel and was looking to have the Armor-Tuff coating applied. I didn't see any way of adding that as an option in the shopping cart. I made the request as a reply to the email I received for the order.

Is that adequate, or do I need to do something differently to ensure I get my barrel with the coating?

(web order #6285123, item #TR-300LW16)

Frank,
Of course its very ammo dependent, but we expect MOA or less with ammunition the barrel likes. Mine shoots this stuff awesome......

Quick question for you. Are the 7.62x40WT barrels available in Midlength or does the round not cycle the action if the gas is over carbine length?

Glad to hear it. Midlength gives better recoil control.

One last question, will anyone besides Redding be making reloading dies for 7.62x40?
