I placed order on 2/13/13, waited a while, and saw no updates from your website. I then sent an email tim@oldgrouch.com but I never received a response back.

I then called after waiting for ten days, since your policy is "If an item is out of stock and we do not expect to get more in order to ship your order within 10 business days, we will contact you via email or phone to determine if you wish to wait or cancel your order". I was told you were waiting for two items to come back in stock and it would ship Friday.

The order status was never updated Friday, so I called Monday, and I was told it would ship that day. Luckily, it did ship that day, 2/27/12.
I finally received my order but one item was a little too large. I called and asked for RMA and if you could advance ship them new item and I would pay for it. I just asked that you refund me the for the one I return.
It is now a few days after that last call and nothing has been charged to my card, so I'm assuming the replacement did not ship yet. I was hoping to have this for an upcoming class next weekend

My sincere apologies for this.

We suffered a hard drive failure, and notes from your order and about a dozen others were lost as they had been made after the last backup. I know I had adjustments to make for yours and a couple others, and did my best to get in contact with people form that day from memory to verify but I did not remember all the orders affected.

If you can use the item for you class, how about you use the one you have now, I will send you another at no cost and you can keep both?

Thank you very much for your generosity. Hard drives crashes always suck.

I don't need the other so I'll still send it back to you.

They fixed an order for me lightning fast. I ordered an ALICE pack that a mouse had found as a nice place to set up shop. I emailed Tim about it, and I had a new pack in 2 days. Give him a chance. He will make things right.
